According to Nicole, Kallie’s dear friend and Sébastien’s sister-in-law, this match was six years in the making. He is charming, handsome, tall, and kind. She is ambitious, beautiful, smart, and funny. They had to meet. 

Fast forward to the fall of 2024, after swearing off dating–again–Sébastien finally relented to Nicole’s attempts to play cupid. She even enlisted her husband Ali in her mission. Sébastien, hopeful but pragmatic, was skeptical of the distance. Ali shot back,  “Listen, I was in New York and Nicole lived in Boston. And now we’re married with two kids…” 

Their first FaceTime was on October 21, 2024. It was an instant spark - they connected on Love Island, their personal and professional ambitions, and they both couldn’t stop smiling. Two flirtatious months later, they couldn’t deny the connection any longer. After an impromptu phone call, Kallie, fearless as ever, booked her flight. She had to be sure.

Not a day has gone by since that call that Kallie and Sébastien haven’t spoken to each other.

Kallie landed in Montreal on a cold January Friday. It was the first of many memorable weekends together, each one feeling like its own little episode. There was the one where he bought his first pair of hiking boots and the one where she discovered Quebec’s spa culture. Despite the distance, there was no will-they-won’t-they. They would. 

By Season Two, they knew they had found their person. And despite Kallie’s determination not to be surprised, the proposal confirmed Sébastien still had a few tricks up his sleeve.

On April 18, 2026, Sébastien took Kallie back to La Spada, where over a year ago they had dinner on their first date in person. She walked in thinking she was meeting friends for an exclusive brunch party. As she scanned the empty room, she was bewildered: “Where is everyone?… What’s going on?… Why are they playing our song?... Seb… WHAT IS GOING ON?!?”

Sébastien reached for her hand. Squeezed it gently, just to let her know she was safe. He then got down on one knee and she said yes. 

But their story is not over. In fact, it got renewed for 40 more seasons.
